First Consultation ……12th May’ 2003

• H/o Low Back Pain, difficulty in walking & standing since 2-3 years and
  on bed rest since last 2 months
• H/O Consulted:
  1. Ortho Surgeons: medicines - temp relief
  2. Neurosurgeons – adv: surgery
• Cough impulse ++
• GAIT : painful, limping, slow, cautious, poor ground clearance, foot slap heard
• Mobility of spine : restricted & painful
• S L R : Positive with muscle spasm
• Both lower limb muscle weakness, more weakness on LT. With partial foot drop

Advised admission for “ aggressive conservative “ treatment with acupuncture.

Treatment started on 12th May’ 03

• Was admitted for 20 days
• Pain at low back about 75% & legs about 25% PAIN RELIEF in FIRST course and was able to move about.
• Negligible pain at low back & 75% PAIN RELIEF in SECOND course
• Almost full PAIN RELIEF in THIRD course and started moving out side.
