15th August 1979, is a prestigious milestone for us. The first Acupuncture Clinic - Anand Polio & Pain Relief Clinic - in this part of Karnataka was established. Our history is a long story of confidence. On 15th August 2004, we completed 25 years of humble service in the field of medicine, acupuncture & rehabilitation. Our Centre is being regularly upgraded milestones and now redefined as “Anand Pain Relief & Rehabilitation Institute”. It has rare, but very useful combination of Modern Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with Acupuncture.

All this is practiced with personalized healing touch – Holistically & scientifically.We believe in Evidence Based Medicine. We offer not only curative and / or palliative treatments, but also equal stress on preventive & educative programmes.

First decade of practice was towards the treatment & rehabilitation of polio children & allied diseases. Thank God as polio is almost eradicated. Second decade onwards, were are more & more concerned about pain relief, especially back pain. It was observed that, patients having back pain move from doctor to doctor, till they find someone in whom they can develop confidence & faith. Over the last few years, we have found that educating a patient about his / her back & back pain is one of the most effective ways of treating his / her back pain along with standard aggressive conservative line of treatment. This is the secret of our success. Keeping this in mind, plus the increasing need and to keep pace with newer developments, we started yet another first, not only to Hubli city, but may be to the entire Karnataka State “Hubli School of BackCare” on 15th Aug’ 2002. With the blessings from The Lord and well wishers, there is overwhelmed response and again we noticed the need of “knee care” too, and aptly we prepared ourselves and adding “knee care” on the occasion of SILVER JUBILEE celebrations. “Anand Pain Relief & Rehabilitation Institute”, probably is The FIRST & the only Hospital having 15 beds exclusively for Acupuncture + Physiotherapy & Therapeutic Gymnasium + Orthotic Dept., in Karnataka. We have new own spacious premises with serene ambience. Lord Ganesha is showering His Blessings from just adjust elegant mega temple in spacious garden ground. All rooms are having attached bathroom & other facilities for decent & comfortable stay with attainder. Ergonomically designed tailor-made furniture & fixtures are provided to offer & teach good postures. Cubicles to provide privacy for 10 acupuncture out-patients at a time with music system are available. “Anand Pain Relief & Rehabilitation Institute” has no look like hospital and no hospital like staff, no hospital atmosphere of smelling of drugs, no IV fluids running & running staff, “Anand Pain Relief & Rehabilitation Institute” is known as in true sense as holistic healing centre. What we offer is adding life to years.
